By the late 19th century, the pharmaceutical industry was developing a new and much more desirable form of Viagra: oral pills. A decade later, Pfizer's Viagra was the best-known medication in the world, and the company began to expand into other areas of the pharmaceutical industry. The pharmaceutical industry itself was still new; however, it had been around since before the early 1900s, and there were many new forms of the medication. Today, there are four new types of drugs in the pharmaceutical industry: oral tablets, oral capsules, oral liquids and injections. The most popular are Viagra (sildenafil), the newer, less expensive medications, and Adcirca (cabezuil).
Many of these products and medications are available in different forms, and they can vary in price depending on the manufacturer and the type of medicine.
